Organizing the crib parts
Lucy might be a little jealous or a little confused....
Final product! Love it! :-)
We installed and painted new closet doors. I hope this is enough storage space for our little girl.
Her closet is starting to fill up fast!
This week I am just so thankful for everything we have in our lives. We have wonderful families and friends. We have steady jobs and a comfortable house where we can raise our daughter. And of course, we have our health. :-) Sometimes I am guilty of getting into a "keeping up with the Jones'" kind of mode, when I really should be looking around at everything I have to be thankful for in my life right now.
22 weeks
Several people mentioned I was looking more pregnant today. I guess they were right!
Biggest Cravings: chocolate milk and most foods in general (My appetite has increased significantly over the last couple weeks.)
Clothes: I'm still not loving maternity clothes because they're not super comfortable to me, but I'm looking forward to cooler weather, so I can wear leggings and boots.
Body: I have been more clumsy lately. I broke 2 glasses within 10 minutes one day. I'm still getting used to having this belly in front of me and I think it's throwing off my balance a little. Also, my lower back has started to hurt. I have a feeling the comfortable pregnancy stage is starting to pass.
Energy/Mood: I'm a little more tired than I was a couple weeks ago, but I think a lot of that has to do with teaching full-time again. My mood is great as long as my feet and back don't hurt and I've been fed. ;-)
Movement: Reese kicks every day. She usually kicks in the afternoon (around 4pm) and again late at night (around 10-11pm). I'm hoping this means she's a night owl like her mom! Elliott and I have really enjoyed this part of the pregnancy.
Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well. I have to get up 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom, which is kind of annoying. Also, sometimes it's hard for me to get comfortable when I first go to sleep.
Best Moment this week: Putting together the crib with Elliott and hearing him remark that it really looks like a baby's room now. :-)
Miss Anything? De-stressing with a glass of wine on a Friday night and wearing comfortable jeans (maternity jeans are just not doing it for me)
Looking forward to: finishing up the room and feeling her kick more and more
Love always,
Erin, Elliott, and Reese
