Naps and Candy Corn

Exhaustion has definitely set in for me as I approach the last 60 days of this pregnancy (who's counting?!?). Besides the initial nausea like I had with Reese, this pregnancy has been much easier and more enjoyable. Yes, I'm tired, hungry all the time, wake up stiff (or with leg cramps), and have been known to be a little grumpy on occasion (especially when I haven't eaten), but overall, I have felt relatively great for the last few months. I have energy in the mornings and feel great at work. By the time 6pm rolls around, I'm about to fall asleep standing up...but again, it could be worse. I remember spending the last few weeks of Reese's pregnancy attached to a heating pad or at the physical therapist because of sciatic nerve issues. I am so thankful I haven't had any of those issues this time around (yet).

At 32 weeks along, we finally ordered the crib! With Reese, I had her whole nursery done months before she was born. I am starting to have mini panic attacks about not having things ready when he arrives. As long as he doesn't come early, we'll be fine. :-) Plus, he has plenty of clothes already...we don't have to worry about that!

Biggest Cravings: Candy Corn. And pretty much anything in a 5 mile radius.
Biggest Food Aversions: Meat isn't sounding great again.
Clothes: Dresses and more dresses. And sandals are great because my feet are starting to swell. Socks & shoes are my nemesis. How ridiculous those are to put on?!?
Body: I still have a cough and I'm still taking Zantac for it. I've had some headaches in the morning and I wake up super stiff.
Energy/Mood: TIRED! I just woke up from a 3 hour nap! This kid is wiping me out. My mood has been pretty good though...just starting to get a little anxious about getting everything done before he arrives!
Movement: Lots and lots of movement! He has been kicking my ribs and rolling around these days.
Sleep: Most nights I still sleep wonderfully. I did wake up at 4am last week and couldn't go back to sleep. But, if that's my first sleepless night, I'll take it!
Best Moment this week: I love Saturday mornings with my little family. This Saturday we went apple picking and had a blast. Reese says and does the funniest things these days. She played peek-a-boo over the booth with this older gentleman at Jimmy's Diner...She kept getting shy and saying to me, "I don't like that" and then proceeded to do it again...so funny to watch them interact. I'm trying to soak up the last few weeks of her being an only child. :-(

Miss Anything? The ease of putting on shoes. It shouldn't be that hard!
Looking forward to: We're taking family pictures tomorrow. The crib should be here in the next week or so. And my sister is making an Ikea run for me to put the final touches on the nursery. Not to mention, we're only 8 weeks away from meeting our little boy!

Daddy did all the heavy lifting (and most of the picking)!

Love this girl!

The prettiest apple we picked!

Ta-da!

Honey Crisp, Gala, Criterion, and Senshu... Now what? Send me your apple recipes asap!

31 weeks down!
